IPED Lecture: The U.S. Trade Policy and the Role of the U.S. International Trade Commission

Jack Brower is an international economist with the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) and graduated from the IPED program in 2021. Since graduating, he has also held roles with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service working in commodity analysis on livestock and animal proteins. During his time in IPED, Jack received a Public Service Assistantship, interning with the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and U.S. Department of the Treasury. As an international economist, Jack works within USITC’s Office of Industry and Competitiveness Analysis, specifically performing research on high-quality, leading-edge analysis on trade issues surrounding agriculture and fisheries.
