Encounter a single object through close looking and discussion. \n🖼️ Slip Behind the Scenes\nGet behind-the-scenes access to the Morgan! Visit the Sherman Fairchild Reading Room and Drawing Study Center to discover resources and objects not currently on view. \n✏️ Drawing at the Morgan\nSketch a costumed model as you enjoy live music in the Gilbert Court. Informal drawing lessons and materials are provided by Drawing America\, no experience necessary. \n🔍 Scavenger Hunt\nExplore details of the Morgan’s campus and test your powers of observation with a scavenger hunt. If you complete it\, you can enter a raffle for a free membership to the Morgan! \n☕ The Morgan Café will be open for service until 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a snack or beverage and make a friend with students from different colleges!

DESCRIPTION:Join Matthew McGowan\, associate professor and chair of classics at Fordham\, and fellow alumni for a special day at the Morgan Library & Museum. \nWe’ll begin with the Morgan Highlights tour\, which provides an overview of the Morgan’s history\, architecture\, historic buildings\, collections\, and exhibitions. \nWe’ll then complete our day with afternoon tea at the Morgan Cafe. Warm up with Harney and Sons premium sachet teas\, sandwiches\, scones\, fruit tarts\, and Louisa Morgan’s famous sugar cookies! \nThis event costs $60 per person and includes the tour and afternoon tea.
