DESCRIPTION:A Lecture by Benjamin A. Katz \nJoin us for this talk by Benjamin A. Katz\, a senior board member of Shoval: Education for Tolerance\, an Israeli organization that hosts dialogues between religious LGBT people and religious education\, mental health\, and community institutions. \nShoval hosts about 50 sessions and supports or hosts about six conferences per year across Israel. Katz will speak about his experiences leading Shoval\, as well as the shared experiences of Israeli LGBT activists who work in an otherwise conservative community and political environment. Katz is also a registered psychologist\, currently performing doctoral research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
