We will discuss the big picture—how to write a convincing proposal—and the smaller picture—the role of attention-grabbing titles and abstracts. \nTrostle has worked to improve proposal-writing through workshops and collaborative consultations in more than 15 countries. He has received research funding from numerous organizations—including the NSF\, the NIH\, the Kellogg Foundation\, the Ford Foundation\, the World Health Organization\, and USAID—and has received fellowships from the Fulbright Program and the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe. \nFood will be provided. RSVP to David Heston at dheston@fordham.edu by October 3 if you are interested in attending.
