DESCRIPTION:We originally planned to host a basketball watch party for our upcoming Los Angeles alumni gathering\, but in light of the devastating wildfires that have impacted so many in our community\, we’ve decided to pivot and reframe this event to better support those in need. \nThis will now be a community-driven gathering focused on providing assistance to those affected by the fires. While the watch party aspect will still bring us together to celebrate our Fordham spirit\, we are now asking for your generosity in lieu of the monetary fee that was originally planned. \nInstead of an entry fee\, we are encouraging alumni to bring donations of essential items or gift cards that will go directly to those in need\, including:\n-Gift cards or cash cards ($5 or more)\n-Hygiene products (shampoo/conditioner\, deodorant\, soap\, toothpaste\, toothbrush\, etc.)\n-Personal protective equipment (PPE) \nWe hope that by coming together as a Fordham family\, we can make a meaningful impact in supporting our neighbors during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing you there\, and thank you in advance for your kindness and support. \nTogether\, we are Fordham Strong.

DESCRIPTION:“Run to daylight” is a football expression born on Rose Hill by none other than Vincent Thomas Lombardi. \nOn Saturday\, October 28\, at Rose Hill’s newly christened Joe Moglia Stadium\, Fordham looks to follow Lombardi’s eternal mantra while facing off against the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders. More an upheaval of nature than mere sporting event\, this annual Jesuit showdown is nicknamed the Iron Major Cup in honor of the Iron Major\, Frank Cavanaugh. Aside from bragging rights and possession of the Ram-Crusader Cup\, a clear path toward Patriot League supremacy and an automatic spot into the FCS playoffs are also at play. Not to mention a chance to erase last year’s heartache while making a historic run to daylight. \nJoin us for breakfast burritos\, mimosas\, and warmer daylight than the cooler skies back east as we cheer on the Rams!
