SUMMARY:Alumni Chapter of Charlotte: 2023 Alumni and GO! Student Reception
DESCRIPTION:Join the Fordham Alumni Chapter of Charlotte for an opportunity to reconnect and meet a group of current students from the Gabelli School of Business Ignite Scholars Program. The Ignite Scholars Program selects talented students with demonstrated leadership experience and challenges and supports them as they become agents for positive change in their communities\, organizations\, and the world at large. \nThe students will be spending the week in North Carolina participating in a Global Outreach (GO!) trip focused on the circular economy in the textile industry and the importance of addressing broader community needs. They’ll be visiting a number of regional companies and organizations that are involved in the sustainable manufacturing and distribution of textiles\, as well as addressing social and environmental justice issues. The Ignite students are interested in learning from our successful alumni as they seek opportunities to impact the world. \nPlease join us as we provide a warm Southern welcome for the students! The event cost includes a selection of appetizers. Drinks and additional food can be purchased directly from the restaurant. \nSpace is limited\, and registrations will be honored on a first-come\, first-served basis.
